OCC Detail Knife - 1 3/8" blade (Shipley Style Knife)

The OCC knives (formerly called Shipley Knives) have been one of our best selling knives and they have just been re-introduced to the market. This new generation of knives are made from O1 tool steel and go through a unique tempering process. All the blades have a flatter grind which delivers a nice, easy cut! The handles are made from native Missouri Walnut. The Small Detail Knife has a 1 3/8" blade and approximate handle length is 4 1/2".  All knives are made by Mike Shipley.

    he knife fits well and cuts even nicer. I particularly like the flat bevel which makes stropping very easy.

    The point of the knife in the image is much sharper than the knife I received. Also, maybe it needs honing, but my FlexCut knives are much sharper out of the box than the OCCT WK-4
