Not all green sharpening compounds are the same. Zam is an ultra-fine sharpening compound that has been used and loved by many carvers for years. While Zam can be used on a leather strop, many find Zam's dense nature is best suited to be used on power sharpening or buffing wheels. It works great to put on that final edge and maintain carving knives, gouges, and v-tools.
