The metal is hardened to a 59-61R and designed to hold an incredible edge.  The Euro tools are an excellent alternative for those who prefer the longer handles over a traditional palm tool, sharp and ready to use.     Stubai carving chisels

    Recently purchased a Stubai #2 skewed chisel. I really like the size of this chisel, a bit smaller than the standard. It came with a mediocre cutting edge and needed sharpened. But, it cuts beautifully and seems to hold a good edge. I will be purchasing more Stubai chisels.
