This thermometer is a great addition to walking sticks or canes. It can be recessed into the top of smaller sticks to give them a finished appearance as well as being functional. 20 mm diameter (approx. 13/16"), 5/16" thick.

    Thermometer works great, seems accurate, and looks nice properly inset at the top of a hiking staff.
    Fragile. My thermometer broke after 6 months of use. I hike often and my staffs get heavy use. The constant vibration from heavy use is too much for the small and fragile thermometer. The spring and ted pointer completely detached and is now loose and floating around inside the liquid.
    Probably best for light, occasional walking sticks.
