TUPELO-PER BOARD FOOT
Please call for sizes and availability.
Many power carvers, particularly bird and fish carvers, regard Tupelo as the best of the carving woods for that type of work. It is light in color, light weight, easy to carve yet holds detail very well. It also accepts detail burning very well. This quality of Tupelo is not easy to find. Our supplier provides prime Tupelo carving wood which is selectively cut and kiln dried. We have 2"-6" thick and up to 14" wide. Calculate board feet by multiplying thickness" X width" X length" /144 and there you have the board feet (example...2x4x12=96/144=.66 board feet)
