Hawthorne Walking Stick

Hawthorn is a light weight wood that makes an excellent hiking stick or cane. Our Hawthorn walking stick blanks are about 1" diameter and about 55" long with a light color that varies to give the stick a great look when finished. Hawthorn carves easily and has been used for walking sticks and canes for hundreds of years.

    Purchased a walking stick blank of Hawthorn to make as a gift. Once debarked I found the wood to be colored in hues of pink, brown, yellow, white and orange. Just gorgeous grain. It works well with almost any tool, sands out nicely with not a great amount of effort and it takes a finsih beautifully. Higly recommended for a custom creation. Kudos to Treeline for having great quality merchandise and great personal service.
