    Deep Undercutting

    I'm carving a realistic sculpture of a Hawaiian man (kane) blowing a conch shell (called a pū) in marble. After undercutting with a flame bur, I use these taper carbide burs for the deeper undercutting in shallow areas. Being carbide they last quite a while, even in marble.
