Strong 202 Micro Motor

I am no expert and have only had this for a few hours, but have already discovered how much more comfortable it is to use, how much more control I have and how much quieter it is compared to the other rotaries that I have used. Thumbs up.

Much more powerful than I had expected. High speeds make both detail work and bulk material removal very easy. The handpiece is extremely comfortable to use and easy to control at a variety of approach angles. Not having that bulky flex shaft trailing off behind the handpiece makes a huge difference in my carving.

I just purchased the strong 202 power carver. I have been carving for many years with a foredom and dremel. The 202 is ten times the machine they are for fast perfect carving. The ability to rotate at 45000 rpm is amazing how much faster and easier and comfortable in your hand. Not to mention the quick change bit power motor. No more slipping ferrels broken shafts bit flying out of the holder and wrenches on the floor. Change a bit in 15 seconds. The employees at Treeline are awesome after my purchase the machine went on sale for $229 and they called me and gave me $25 credit on my next order. The 202 is a little more expensive you will love this thing every time you put it in your hand. I carve lots of snowmen and bears. Before my strong 202 purchase I was carving 1 a day I am able to carve 3 a day now and much less time sanding. You will love this tool I just wish I would of found it years ago.

This micro machine is very powerful and reliable. The handpiece is a nice size, the bits and sizer changes out easily for rapid burr change. The adjustable speed allows you flexibility for different materials and bits.
I got the foot pedal attachment which allows quick, accurate acceleration which I appreciate greatly.

I use this tool for carving wood and animal skulls. So far the tool has performed beautifully and is very easy to control. At 45,000 rpm the burrs glide through the material with ease and offer the ability to easily do your detail work. I would definitely recommend it to carvers to supplement their tooling, especially for fine detail work.

Performance is excellent. Would recommend it to anyone interested in a good Micro Motor.
